What Should Have Been Their "Surname" or "Last Name"?
by titch inok, folks, so here's my question.
now then, assuming that you believe that there was an actual first man and a first woman, as the bible propounds, that had the name of "adam" and "eve" (as we have called them, in the english language) well, what do you think that their surname or last name would have been, or should have been?
that is, if they had surnames way back then, in the so-called "beginning" of human existence?

A couple of years ago I read that because of the increase of electrical vehicles on the road and the anti smog devices on gas powered vehicles, the smog created by lawn equipment in Los Angeles, will soon surpass the smog created by the tens of thousands of vehicles on the road there.
2035 is quite a way off and maybe this will be a motivating factor in battery powered equipment being improved so that it become come more efficient/ practical. Or perhaps there will soon be power mowers and blowers with anti smog equipment.

The "Regular Pioneer" title has now become a total joke
by pistolpete inwe just had our co visit a few weeks ago.
apparently, he was encouraging all who could to regular pioneer, to at least try it out for a year.
because of this, we had a few people in our hall become one.. so this weekend we were on zoom service, and the sister that was just appointed was talking about it.

Remember the "experiences" at the assemblies of Pioneers who were about to quit pioneering but miraculously at the last minute found a $20 in the pocket of an old coat, or found the perfect part time"pioneering" job or ran into somebody who was giving away a car. And of course there was always someone who threatened to quit their full time job and because they were such an outstanding employee, their boss gave them a better and higher paying part time job. Surely Jehovah had a hand it all of this and will do the same today. -

Everyone knows the Garden of Eden was in Ireland and Adam and Eve were Irish. 🍀 so their last name would have been something like, O'Eden...Mr and Mrs. O'Eden or Maybe their last name was McRib. Adam and Eve McRib has a nice (and yet strangely familiar) ring to it.
The Adams family?
Adam Bin Eden and his wife Eve ?
The Godson's?
Mr and Mrs Jehovason?

Do you suppose that having a high number of "regular pioneers" on the books might somehow help with their charitable status? Claiming they have X amount of "full time ministers/volunteers" actively participating in their so called charitable activities might make them eligible for certain governmental provisions/funds/grants etc.
When it comes to impressing their more gullible members, it would most certainly give them bragging rights when it came time to report the great increase as evidence of Jehovah's obvious blessings. "So encouraging".

I couldn't be married to someone who "let" me or didn't "let me" do things. I remember I went out and bought a new truck and the guys at work said " Your wife LET you buy that ?? My wife wold never let me buy a new truck without asking her"
I married a partner not a mother.

A "killer" question for Jehovah's Witnesses
by Terry inhere is a 'killer' question for jw's.
which description best describes how you see yourself and how you feel?which would you choose?
are you: 1. a christian 2. a jehovah's witness here's the scenario.

They’d readily reply “ JW” because in their mind JW covers both choices.

The 2020 Census of American Religion 07.08.2021

more than one-third of muslims (39%), white mainline protestants (37%), buddhists (37%), and the religiously unaffiliated (36%) have at least a four-year college degree.
another 19% are catholic, 2% are latter-day saint, and less than 1% each are jehovah’s witnesses or orthodox christians.

I’m wondering if a lot of JW’s ( especially older ones), wouldn’t participate in anything having to do with religion such as this survey, that doesn’t come directly from the “ slave” governing body. Hence the low “ age average”. They don’t trust “ Satan’s world” especially with information about their religion.

Love this lady...I'd love to be her friend. She is saying what so many JW's would love to shout at the top of their voices during the meeting. Instead they repress the urge and take anti-depressants (children's chewable prozac) and or sedatives, turn to alcohol or beat their kids out of frustration.
"Whatca' gonna' do Tony...come get me??" OMG...priceless.
"Tony need to make another trip to the liquor store...Tony need to give my parents some receipts!"
